Hinata is a bright, friendly high-school girl whose life changes when she meets Hitomi-san—an enormous, expressionless, intimidating woman who works at the local café. Despite Hitomi’s frightening appearance and her crippling shyness, Hinata quickly realizes she’s gentle, soft-spoken, and desperate to get better at talking to people… even if her attempts end in adorable panic. As Hinata helps Hitomi build confidence, the two grow closer through small daily adventures—shopping, cooking, café work
