The latest version of the Maxxis Forekaster is specifically designed for modern short-travel trail bikes with suspensions between 100mm and 130mm, commonly referred to as the "downcountry" segment. Released in July 2022, this tire aims to be the perfect balance—faster rolling than both the Minion and the Dissector, while offering more reliable cornering, climbing, and braking traction compared to the Aspen and Rekon.
