The medicine box that is tea has been renowned for over 2,000 years for its healing powers. Pu-erh is famous for aiding in the treatment of stomach ailments, high cholesterol, and hangovers, as well as being effective in weight loss. It is the only tea which is intentionally aged, sometimes as long as 30 years, and obtains an earthy, mushroom flavor. Pu-erh is also distinctive for its brick- or cake-like shapes, making it easy to store on shelves or in caves for decades
