"There are only two kinds of people in this world: those who steal, and those who are stolen from." Ciel Phantomhive is a young boy who, after a horrific tragedy destroys his family and leaves him at the mercy of a sadistic cult, trades his soul for the power to claim vengeance. Reborn as the "Queen’s Watchdog," Ciel navigates the treacherous upper crust of Victorian London, liquidating the empire's criminal elements while hunting the person responsible for his suffering.
