A single dowel base adds simplicity to the design of this floor globe. The Commander II world globe summons the attention and admiration of all who see it. This antique-style globe combines cartographic excellence with style, lending grace and intrigue to any environment. By simply removing the centerpost, it converts from a 38" floor globe to a convenient desktop globe. At a 16" ball diameter this makes it the largest desktop globe.
